- Can negotiate / bargain with suppliers to meet the purchase demands within due course of time
- Cost effective buying
- To analyze the purchase request from the user departments and determine the appropriate method of procurement, Quotation, Tender and Request for Proposal
- To keep informed of current developments in the field of purchasing, prices, market conditions and new products
- Inspection of all supplies, services and equipment
- Maintain complete record for purchased and issued inventory
- Can handle day to day procurement matters
