About the Role: 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our team. The Audit Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the execution of audit engagements, managing client relationships, and guiding audit teams to deliver high-quality work by professional standards and regulatory requirements.

Duties will include:

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion in line with FRS102 and IFRS accounting standards, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables are of the highest quality.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for audit-related matters.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to audit teams, resolving complex accounting and auditing issues as they arise.
• Review audit work papers, financial statements, and other documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable standards.
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing coaching and professional development opportunities to foster growth and advancement within the firm.
• Stay abreast of regulatory developments, industry trends, and emerging issues affecting clients, and communicate relevant updates to engagement teams and clients.
• Collaborate with partners and senior leadership to identify opportunities for process improvements, efficiencies, and service enhancements.
• Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation, client presentations, and networking events, to support firm growth objectives.
