Responsibilities:

• Translation & Adaptation of Content: Translate and adapt materials from English to Urdu in line with the Tone of Voice defined in the brand guidelines. Ensure accuracy and cultural relevance for the target audience.
• Original Content Creation: Create and edit original Urdu-language content for various communication channels, including websites, mobile applications, and marketing materials.
• Market Research & Analysis:Conduct research to understand the preferences and expectations of Urdu-speaking audiences and suggest content improvement strategies.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and design teams to ensure effective localization and delivery of content.

Required Experience and Skills:

• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Urdu and English, written and spoken.
• Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years in copywriting, preferably in tech or finance sectors.
• Writing Skills: Excellent writing and editing skills in Urdu with strong attention to detail and grammatical accuracy.
• Cultural Awareness: Deep understanding of cultural and social nuances that influence how content is perceived by Urdu-speaking audiences.
• Technical Skills: Experience with translation tools and content management systems.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in linguistics, journalism, communications, marketing, or related fields.
• Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing.
• Experience working in international companies or projects.
• Knowledge of other regional languages spoken in Pakistan is a plus.
